Geely’s new SUV Binyue officially went on sale at 78,800 yuan.

On October 31st, Binyue, a brand-new small SUV owned by Geely Automobile, was officially launched. The price range of the new car is7.88-118.8 million yuan.Binyue was built on the BMA modular architecture independently developed by Geely, and was equipped with a 1.5T three-cylinder turbocharged engine in advance. The newly designed LOGO logo can highlight its sporty atmosphere. After the new car goes on the market, it will compete directly with changan CS35, Baojun 510 and Chuanqi GS3.
In the front part, Binyue adopts the design language of "Time Racing Aesthetics", which is younger and more fashionable. The "Starry Memory" front air intake grille is decorated with chrome trim strips and connected with headlights on both sides, which enhances the overall sense of the front face. Secondly, the sports version adopts Geely’s brand-new black LOGO, which is flatter and more textured than the existing LOGO.
Binyue’s flailing waistline simulates the trajectory of the human body jumping into the water, running from the front of the car to the rear of the car, and outlines Binyue’s smooth and powerful body. It is worth mentioning that Binyue is equipped with an aerodynamic speed-sensing tail, which can effectively reduce the wind resistance, increase the downward pressure on the car body and improve the stability of the vehicle when driving at high speed. The shape of the rear of the new car is very full, and the thick chrome trim strips extend all the way to the interior of the taillights on both sides, making the rear layered. In addition, the exhaust layout of the two sides also makes Binyue look full of fighting atmosphere.
In the interior part, the new car adopts a wingspan technology cockpit design, and the overall interior style is fashionable. The design of black/red color matching is quite avant-garde, with a large area of matte metal brushed decorative board, creating a dynamic and fashionable interior atmosphere. The color screen of the central control adopts suspended modeling, with delicate display effect, and the touch control mode also caters to the preferences of young consumers at present. The built-in lathe system has beautiful interface and rich information.
In terms of safety configuration, Binyue comes standard with ESC body electronic stability system, in addition, it is equipped with AEB city pre-collision system, LDW lane departure warning, BSD blind spot monitoring, PPS pedestrian identification and protection system, IHBC intelligent high beam control system, SLIF traffic speed limit sign intelligent identification system, TPMS intelligent tire temperature & tire pressure monitoring system, intelligent high-definition vehicle driving recorder and so on.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5TD turbocharged engine jointly developed by Geely and Volvo, with a maximum power of 130kW(176Ps), a peak torque of 255Nm and an acceleration time of 7.9s seconds per 100 kilometers. In terms of transmission, the new car matches the 7-speed DCT gearbox. According to official data, the comprehensive fuel consumption of the new car is 6.1L per 100 kilometers.
